A popular excuse among children and teenagers when it comes to thanking grandma for a gift, wishing uncle a happy birthday, or sending the family a detailed vacation report not my WhatsApp but by mail.

The statement takes on a different connotation when your daily bread is writing journalistic articles, technical texts, papers, or other reports. With all the writing I do, my own blog gets neglected. This month, that's the case for me. One assignment follows another, and I don't have the time I need to “put something on paper” for myself.
